Samayara's POV
It's been almost two months to that library incident. I was scared at first but they both encouraged me and told me not to fear of anything.
One day we were sitting in the college ground and I was just looking here and there, lost in my thoughts as I have a fear someone was watching me and when I looked at the corner of the ground, HE WAS THERE. I was literally shaking mere with his presence. They both got worried and when I didn't avert my gaze from him, Avyaan followed my gaze and he understood everything. In no time, he stood up and went towards him.
He talked to THAT boy and warned him not to disturb me and he agreed.
He agreed and I doubt how. ? Because the way he was smiling looking at me in the library it was not just a smile it was way something more. And I was very terrified. But after that we didn't see him. So we are kind of relax.
Time skips
Our assignments and practicals were going on. Exams are just round the corner. So all the focus was only on studies. Sometimes we hang out at Avyaan and Shanaya's place to study.
Today we decided to study at Shaanu's home.
Study hogi bhi ya nahi ye to wahin jaa kar pta chalega ..
We reached there and aunty welcomed us with warm smile.
"Namaste aunty" . We ( me and avi ) both greeted her. Avi by touching her feet and me just by giving her hug. She is the lady I adored the most. She and Avyaan's mother are more like mother figure to me.
Then she patted our shoulders and asked her to go to Shaanu's room.
That's what I love about them. They are open minded and have trust on their children. Unlike my elders, who didn't like that girls talk to any boy/man. But they are okay to marry their girls to strangers without knowing..
Strange..hypocrite people.
This the main reason I didn't invite Avyaan at my place to study. Why to make issue afterwards.!
Bhaiya also know about the thinking of our family, that's why he always meet Avi outside. Kyuki unhe bhi pta hai ki Avi mera dost hai aur mere BUJURAG is baat ka issue bnaane mein bilkul bhi time nahi lagayenge ki ladke se dosti ho rakhi hai. Ladki ka character theek nahi hai aur BUA jo kalesh karegi wo alag.
Some things are not in our hands specially the thinking and mentality.
You can't change the thinking of any person until they themselves want to change.
It's a waste of time. Bhains k aage been bajane waali situation hoti hai..
Anyways back to studies.
We are now in Shaanu's room. She is ready with the study material.
"Hi baby, how are you.?" She said
"We are good tu kaisi hai.? sab ready.?
"Yes, everything is ready, snacks, cold drink, chips, chocolate." This was her reply.
"Mata main padhayi ki baat kar rahi hoon. We are here for study not for picnic."
"Arey,,,, jab tak haath mein chocolate na ho to padhaai ka kaisa majaa. Here take this and these are the notes. Chaliye shuru karte hain."
Without wasting our time we started our study .
After studying for 2 hours we decided to take a break and to have some food or snacks. Beech beech mein bhi humaare snacks chal rahe they but this time sach mein Boht jor se bhookh lagi thi.
Shaanu was about to call aunty to prepare lunch for us to which aunty replied, "It's already ready and come quickly for lunch. I am waiting. "
Aunty made rajma chawal, papad, salad, chutney and boondi raita. All our favourite. We sit on the table and literally attacked on the food like We were starving pta nahi kitne time se. We told aunty to join us but she said she will have with uncle and need some rest as she is not feeling well.
So we asked her to take rest and we will manage ourselves.
She nodded and go back to her room.
We were enjoying the taste of rajma chawal when Avyaan said , "kya bolte ho is baar achhe se ho jaayega na exam."
Shaanu said, "is baar kyu, humaara to acche se hota hai aur tu kyu tension le raha hai. Tu to sir ki class ka topper hai. Tujhe kabse tension hone lagi. Hmmm .?"
"Arey wo isliye ki agar number achhe na aaye to is handsome se face se koi bhi ladki baat nahi karegi. Aur phir meri girlfriend kaise banegi yaar."
We girls chocked on our food.
"Girlfriend kahan se aayi beech mein.? Koi girlfriend nahi banegi. Baabu bhaiya girlfriend ka chakkar chhod do. Kuch nahi rakha isme. Ye pyaar vyaar ke chakkar mein mat jaao baabu bhaiya. Boht bekaar cheez hai. Just focus on your studies. Warna Maine aunty ko bta dena hai ki "aunty - maa da laadla beegad raha hai. Sambhaal lo ise. " He is very kind, handsome and I don't want ki uska dil toote, uska ek baar heartbreak ho chuka hai and i don't want him to face these kind of situations again. He told me he has a crush on our classmate but I didn't like her and I didn't find her suitable for him.
He poked my nose. And said mujhe to chahiye.
And left the table as he finished his food.
I know he was joking..

Days passed but our exams are still going on.
Kab khatam honge exams mahadev.

Aarav's POV
Almost two more months have passed and I am recovering from my heart break. You can say I am much better than before. I have almost left alcohol. And spend time with my family but I didn't like to smile. I have made myself cold, rude.
I focus on my college work. Exams are going on and being a professor pressure is double. So, I kept busy myself in the work .
In these two months , there comes many occasions when my family talked about my marriage. I simply refused them by saying I have no interest in this. I don't want to get married not now not never.
They all feel very bad but what do I do ?
I dont want any woman in my life.
Even my youngsters tease me .
I remember one day when we were having dinner, Aadvik started the conversation out of nowhere , "BHAI AAP SHAADI NAHI KAROGE TO HUMARI SHAADI KAISE HOGI .? "
To which I coldly reply , "kyu, shaadi karna jaroori hai kya. ? Bina shaadi k bhi life achhe se chal sakti hai. ! "
"Dekha maine , kaise chal rahi hai aapki life. Kar lo na shaadi humaare saath koi hoga jo humaari side lega.. Jo aapke cold behaviour se humein bachaayega. " Rakshit says.
Rakshit, jo kabhi aisi baat nahi karta aaj wo mjhe ye baat bol raha tha.. Aadvik ka samajh aata hai wo to hai aisa par Rakshit .!?! I was shocked..
I glared at him and in cold tone I said , "Rakshit tum Aadvik k saath kam raha karo.. Uska asar dikh raha tumhaare upar. "
Aadvik banged his head on table dramatically and said, "Mujhe kyu beech mein laa rahe ho.? Ye to Rakshit bhai bol rahein hain. Maine to abhi kuch bolna bhi nahi."
" Kuch bolne ka sochna bhi mat , warna jo tujhe Harley Davidson pasand hai wo nahi milegi. "
" Arey bhai aise mat bolo , bache ki jaan loge kya .? "
We were talking when suddenly Daadu said , "Aarav beta, bache baat to sahi keh rahe hain.
Ek baar dil toota iska matlab ye nahi ki jo bhi ladki aayegi wo aisa he karegi. Har ladki ek jaisi nahi hoti. Aur kya pta jo bhi ladki aaye wo tujhe humse bhi jyada pyaar kare. Humse bhi jyada tera dhyaan rakhe. Tujhe kabhi dookh na pahunchaye. Beta ek na ek baar dil sabka toot ta hai par iska matlab ye nahi ki hum is cheez se mooh fer lein. Ye life ka part hai , hum aise jeena to chhod nahi sakte na. ?
Kisi ek ladki k kaaran tum sabhi ladkiyon k baare mein to ye perspective nahi bnaa sakte. Tum samjhdaar ho, padhe likhe ho, achha kamaate ho, well settled independent ho, ye sab samjho. Tumhe tumhaare liye kisi ki jarurat hai.. Hum sab tumhaara saath de sakte hain par har time saath reh nahi sakte. Saath hamesha life partner he rahega. Tum agar sochte ho ki tumhaari maa, behan, chachi ya daadi tumhaare saath rahengi to Aisa kuch nahi hai. Tumhaari maa ki jarurat tumhaare papa ko hai , tumhaari behan bhi ek din shaadi kar k chali jaayegi . Beta shaadi ki yahi umar sahi hai aur ye baat tum jitni jaldi samjh jaao utna achha hai..! "
I was listening very carefully to what he was saying. I don't want to hurt anyone so I just said , "Daadu abhi main kuch nahi soch raha is baare mein, aur waise bhi college mein exams hain to pressure jyada hai. Hum is baare mein phir kabhi baat karenge. Good night. "
I may sound rude to them but I left from there without listening to their replies. I don't want to hurt any one but it kept reeling in my mind. I didn't want to get married , why they are so willing to get me married.
Author's POV
It's been two days when Aarav and his family had that talk. Nobody talked about it after that and Aarav kept busy himself in college work . Though it was not that much but he pretend to be busy just to avoid any marriage talk.

Somewhere in Shiv mandir , there was having a kirtan. Mahila mandal was very engrossed in doing bhajan , kirtan. When the kirtan finished, there were two ladies who were trying to recognise each other .
One lady took initiative and walked towards the other lady and said, " Maaf kijiyega behanji, par mujhe aisa lagta hai ki maine aapko kahin dekha hai. ? "
To which the other lady said , "Main Sumitra hoon Sarika. !.
( They both were none other than Daadi's of Aarav and Samayara. )
"Arey Sumitra kitne saalo baad mile. Yahan kaise ?" to which Sumitra daadi replied , "main to aaj yahan aise he aa gyi, mann bechain ho raha tha to apne pote ( grandson ) k liye khushi aur sukh shaanti maangne aa gyi.. tu bta tu yahan kaise .? Mujhe to pta he nahi tha tum yahan rehte ho ?
"Hum log bs paas mein he rehte hain."
" Chalo aao Ghar chalein "
"Nahi Sarika aaj nahi , phir kabhi aaungi. Abhi to mujhe jaana hai. "
" Theek hai. Milti rehna."
They both talked to each other for sometime, exchanged numbers and addresses and left for their respective homes.
After reaching home, Sumitra daadi gathered all her family members in the hall.
They all get curious what is going to happen , why daadi called them.
They were waiting for her to speak.
She smiled and said, "Aaj main mandir gayi thi aur wahan mujhe meri boht puraani friend mili.. aur usne mujhe btaya ki wo log apni poti ( grand daughter ) k liye rishta dhoondh rahe hain. Maine bhi use btaya ki hum log bhi humaare pote k liye rishta dhoondh rahe hain.
Maine use to Aisa kuch nahi bola par agar sab ko sahi Lage to kyu na ek baar dekh lein, kya pta ye dosti rishtedaari mein badal jaaye."
Daadi further says, "I know they are middle class but I didn't see any problem in it. Aap sab kya bolte ho. ? "
Daada ji replied, "Sumitra middle class ki baat nahi hai, agar ladki theek hai to kya he problem hai. Humein ladki achhi chahiye, sanskaari ho bas. Waise wo ladki karti kya hai. ?
"Wo teacher hai. " Daadi replied.
" Daadi, ye shaadi nahi ho sakti " Aadvik said and everyone got shocked why he was saying like this.
"Bhai rishta Aarav bhai k liye aaya hai tere liye nahi. Teri permission ki koi jarurat nahi hai. Sirf ek bande ki permission chahiye aur wo hain humaare cold bhai " Rakshit replied and everyone laughed.
"Acha Aadvik tujhe ye rishta kyu manjoor nahi.? " Daadu said in funny tone.
"Daadu ek to bhaiya professor aur upar se jis ladki ka rishta aaya hai wo bhi teacher hai. Daadu ye ghar ghar nahi school ya college ban jaayega aur aapko to pta hai teachers kitna gussa karte hain, kitna daante hain , kitna serious rehte hain. Ye dono to saara din daante rahenge, inke beech pyaar kaise hoga.? Bache kaise honge. Hum chachu kaise banenge. Boht dikkat hai re baba.. Daadu koii aisi ladki dhundho jo thoda Boht masti karna jaanti ho, jo serious na ho . Mujhe teachers k beech nahi rehna...Mummmyyyyyy..... 😭😭😭😭😭😭 "
Everyone laughed at his words.
Daadi said they need to talk to Aarav during dinner time.

During dinner time, everyone were having their meals and their was whispering sound which was not hidden from Aarav. So he left his food and asked Daadu, "Daadu is there anything which I don't know and you all are whispering like this. ?"
Daada ji smiled and said, "Aarav tumhaare liye ek rishta aaya hai aur ladki teacher hai. "
"Daadu aapko maine kitni baar bola hai ki main shaadi k liye ready nahi hoon, why you all are so eager to get me married.?"
He said, left from there and went straight to his room without wasting any time.
Daadi ji and rest others got upset. But Aadvik was in some other mood. He said, "Daadu aapne dekha bhai ka reaction. Aaj unhone ye nahi bola ki unhe shaadi he nahi karni, he just said that unhe abhi shaadi nahi karni, that means he is preparing his mind to settle down but not ready to accept. Shayad us din wali baat bhai k mann mein ghar kar gayi. And he is thinking about it. Maa aap bhai se baat karein na ...!!!"
They all agreed to Aadvik's thought as he was saying the truth.
"Pehli baar akal ki baat ki hai Aadvik, I am proud of you. Aaj tune prove kar diya ki tu mera beta hai." His father said.
"Haan, ye sahi hai, Dhang ki baat ki aapka beta aur agar kuch gadbad ho tu ye mera beta. Maa, ab aap apne bete ko samjhao." Kumud ji teased her husband.
They all laughed and Daadi scolded her son.
But on serious note, daadu asked Kumud ji to talk to Aarav after dinner.
After having dinner, she went to his room. She knocked the door twice and wait for Aarav to open the door. He opened the door in no time.
Seeing his mother he said, "Maa, you don't need to knock the door. It's your room only. You can come anytime and without knocking. Anyways aap yahan, kuchh..kuchh chahiye tha?"
She said, "Haan beta aaj mujhe tumse kuchh chahiye bolo doge ?"
"Maa, aisa kabhi hua hai kya ki aapne kuch maanga ho aur maine na poora kiya ho. Ab to aapka beta bada ho gya aur achha kamaa bhi leta hai. Aaj batayein aapko kya chahiye maa. Main aapko sab laa kar dunga. But ab to aap maangte he nahi. Maa aapke Mann mein jo bhi ichha hai mujhe batayein, mujhe Boht khushi hogi ki main aapki ichha poori kar saku ...!!!"
She said, "Thank you bachaa itna sochne k liye. Beta main chahti hoon ki tum shaadi k baare mein socho. Aaj jo rishta aaya hai wo tumhaari daadi ki friend ki poti hai. Teacher hai. Mujhe lagta hai tumhaari field ki hai to tumhaare thoughts bhi milengi. Professor ko ek teacher he achhe se handle kar sakti hai Beta us din tumhaare daada ji ne bilkul sahi baat ki thi. Hum tumhaare saath hamesha hai par jo saath life partner de sakta hai wo koi aur nahi. Please tum is baare mein socho aur phir faisla kro. Shaadi karne kiye ye umar sahi hai. Physically bhi aur mentally bhi. Tum samajh rahe ho na main kya kehna chah rahi hoon. ?? Hmmm...???? Beta hum sab teri khushi chahte hain .. Aise kab tak akela rahega..??
Ek baar soch le.."
Aarav didn't said anything after that. His mother left from there to give him time.
